Remember when we were talking about a mild Winter thanks to the impact of La Nina? I hope you don't. That's because I think we might have been wrong. You have probably noticed your utility bill has been a bit high. You may have noticed 3-4" snow on the ground a week ago. It doesn't exactly seem mild with the exception of last Friday with highs around 70. According to the climate prediction center - get ready for the deep freeze. Highs in Alabama during January are typically in the mid 40s. The 30-day outlook from the Climate Prediction Center has temperatures running below normal for the southeast.
