Its been a very chilly Friday across the area. Here is the latest view of VIPIR and notice that some scattered light shower activity continues east of I-65. The heaviest precipitation has lifted north into Kentucky and Virginia. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for northern Virginia and northeast West Virginia. We've been watching this area closely because UAB is playing Marshall in Huntington, WV tomorrow. There is a 30% chance of rain mixed with snow overnight in Huntington, but the heavier precipitation should slide east of Marshall tomorrow morning. Its going to remain very cold in West Virginia, with highs struggling to reach 50-degrees tomorrow. Here at home we expect sunshine to return tomorrow, with highs only reaching the lower 60s.
