The National Hurricane Center is keeping a much closer eye on the broad disturbance impacting Florida for possible tropical organization. Notice that there is a 20% chance for organization over the coming hours. This activity is associated with an upper atmospheric disturbance coupled with a surface trough. This in itself is expected to bring gusty winds and rain to the sunshine state. If a warm core surface low did take shape we would most likely see this just east of Florida. However at 20%, the chance remains low. We will keep you posted!
