An Interesting Observation

Check out this wide view of the storm system now impacting the southeast. It looks like the major snow event with this system that could cause travel issues will take place northwest of our coverage area. With that said, flakes continue to fly over some of our northern communities. One interesting observation is the large fetch of rain and moisture that is located to the east of the low center. The main band of rain associated with the system is impacting a 1,000 mile swath that extends well down into the eastern Gulf.
