The sky finally cleared this afternoon, but temperatures remained below average with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. High pressure will dominate our forecast through Saturday. Expect freezing temperatures tonight with lows in the mid to upper 20s. Temperatures will gradually warm over the next several days with highs in the mid 60s by Friday.
The GFS model is indicating a chance of rain returning to the forecast as early as late Sunday. The slow-moving system will keep rain in the forecast through at least early Tuesday. Right now - Monday appears to be a fairly wet day. The lack of instability will keep the severe weather away and it looks like the temperatures will warm enough to keep the precipitation all liquid.
The forecast is a bit murky next week with clouds probably lingering through at least Wednesday.
