Forecast Remains Warm

Expect a brief cooldown over the upcoming weekend with temperatures in the upper 30s by Saturday morning.  It's going to be even colder Sunday morning with lows around 29.  This is just a brief two or three day cold snap.  Temperatures will head back into the 60s next week.  The Climate Prediction Center is still forecasting temperatures well above average over the next three months.

I've gotten a lot of questions over the last several months about cold weather and snow this Winter.  I think it's highly unlikely we'll see any traditional Winter weather.  We'll likely stay in a stormy pattern that runs seamlessly into Spring.
