The cold air flow has taken over and with clouds in place, temperatures have struggled to break out of the upper 40s for most areas. The clouds are expected to linger through tonight and into the day tomorrow. We included one dataset from the Canadian Model that suggests additional clouds will flow in from the northwest tomorrow. We also included the latest visible satellite image that shows a blanket of stratus clouds extending west into Mississippi. This should keep temperatures from cooling to the freezing point overnight.
