Do you have a NOAA Weather Radio and need helping programming it? Chief Meteorologist J-P Dice gives some instruction on how to make sure your weather radio is properly programmed. Always remember to have the alert switch in the ON position. Also, make sure you have a radio with the term S.A.M.E which stands for Specific Area Message Encoding. Radios with this technology are the programmable types.

I am trying to program my NOAA radio, and I got the time set, but when I go back to menu to finish nothing else is coming up on the screen. This radio went throught the Pleasant Grove storm last Spring, and I'm wondering if it is working correctly. Went out to buy new one this morning, but everywhere I went they was sold out.
