Weather Radio Wednesday

Fox 6 was in Birmingham today programming weather radios. From 6:30am until 6:30pm - we were at the Walgreens on Lomb Ave. Over 700 radios were sold and hundreds of others were programmed. Our NOAA weather radio campaign has been running for over two years and is the most successful in the nation.

It's something near and dear to my heart because I believe weather radios are one of the best ways and most reliable ways of getting severe weather information - especially during overnight storms when people are most vunerable.
