The Tropical Storm Watch from the Savannah River to the South Santee River in South Carolina has been discontinued. Alberto has moved into slightly cooler waters and there are no coastal Watches or Warnings in effect.
The storm is expected to turn back to the north and move into warmer waters again so additional strengthening is still possible.
Coastal interests from NE Florida to the Outer Banks of North Carolina should still monitor the progress of Alberto.
