A ridge of high pressure is building into the eastern United States over the next few days giving us mostly clear to partly cloudy skies today through Saturday afternoon.
Saturday evening another trough of low pressure is expected to push our way again giving us a chance of rain and thunderstorms Saturday night into Mother's Day Sunday.
Scattered to isolated showers and thunderstorms remain in our forecast through our next workweek.
