Nurse's Week at UAB

I teamed up with Wes Wyatt today at UAB Hospital for Nurse's week. The hospital played a critical role during the April 27th tornado disaster and the nurses wanted Fox 6 on-hand to promote our weather radio compaign. We had employees from Walgreens also on hand to help.

In addition to NOAA weather radio programming, the hospital is hoping to attract blood donors. They are hoping for 500 units of blood by Friday.

Don't forget we'll be programming NOAA weather radios in Jasper tomorrow at the Walgreens on Airport Road.
