The National Hurricane Center is now expecting Debby to make landfall somewhere along the Florida Panhandle, but the exact location is still uncertain.
So, here's what you need to know...
A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for areas from the Alabama-Mississippi border east to the Suwanee River in Florida.The Warning includes Mobile and Baldwin counties in Alabama. The warning also includes Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties in the Florida Panhandle.
As Debby approaches the coast there is an increasing chance for storm surge and high tides which may result in inundation of 3-5 feet in some coastal areas.The most likely impact will be Monday into Tuesday.
Large waves and pounding surf will accentuate property damage in exposed locations. Flood waters may extend inland and substantial beach erosion will occur. Roads may be damaged or inundated by flood waters.A complete update on Debby tonight on FOX6 News beginning at 9.
