Although she is still stationary, Debby's effects are beginning to be felt along the Alabama Gulf Coast.
Wind gusts have reached tropical storm force along the Alabama and West Central Florida coast.
Tropical Storm Force winds extend out up to 200 miles from the center.
Sustained Tropical Storm Force winds have been reported at several locations along the
Florida Panhandle west of Apalachicola during the past hour.
Debby is now 115 miles S/SW of Apalachicola, Florida with Maximum Sustained winds of 60 mph.
The storm remains stationary.
A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect from the Alabama-Mississippi border east to the Suwannee River.
Little movement is expected during the next couple of days but the forecast
remains uncertain due to weak steering currents.
Some gradual strengthening is possible during the next 48 hours.
