The weekend is almost here and I don't have much to say regarding the weather. The forecast is a simple one - very little rain and warm temperatures. An area of high pressure has setup over the Atlantic and this will keep the rain chances very limited through next week. Temperatures will remain warm with highs in the upper 80s. We could see a few scattered clouds during the afternoon, but I think rain chances will be less than 10%. The Southeast wind flow has done a good job of bringing the mugginess back.
Dewpoint temperatures have climbed into the mid 60s again. This will make for some conditions during the afternoon.
The beach forecast is looking good for Alabama's Gulf Coast. The rain chances will also be limited to our south. Expect a few showers and storms Saturday afternoon, but Sunday looks sunny and dry. Rain chances will return Monday. The water temperature in the Gulf is around 82 degrees.
The Father's Day Forecast looks perfect for grilling or hanging out in the pool. Temperatures will reach the upper 80s with sunny skies across the area.
While the rain chances are very low, we can still expect an isolated strong thunderstorms during the afternoon. This is very much a Summertime weather pattern. Have a great weekend!
