Today I had a chance to speak to a group of kids and counselors participating in St. Vincent Camp 119. This is a summer camp program held at the St. Vincent’s Wellness Center off of highway 119 in Inverness. I want to thank Jay Brock for giving us an opportunity to talk about the science of meteorology and severe weather safety.
The counselors for this year’s camp are Josh Yeackle, Pete Thomas, Samantha Clayton, Madison Imbush, Marisa Tomaszewski, Allie Masher, jasmine Whetstone, and Emily Wells.
(So who should we get to do the weather? Students point towards who they think should give the forecast at St. Vincent Summer Camp 119 Monday.)
