There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms as early as midnight Sunday night and continuing through Tuesday for various spots in Central Alabama.
Damaging winds will be the main threat with these storms.
The tornado threat is minimal.
Several waves of showers and thunderstorms may develop as a cold front slides very slowly southwest across the region.
Sunday night and Monday morning the threat will likely be east of I-65 and north of I-20.
Beginning Monday afternoon and continuing into the evening the threat shifts south with areas north of I-85 having the greatest threat for severe thunderstorms.
The threat continues for all of Central Alabama Tuesday as more weather disturbances slide across the area, one in the morning and a second in the afternoon and everning.
