The First Full Day of Summer...and the Heat Is On!

Expect afternoon highs in the 90's through the weekend with only limited rain chances from a weak cold front which will pass Friday, but leave behind little change in the weather.

A second front arriving early next week will bring slightly lower humidities, but rain chances are still very limited and temperatures will remain...well...Summer Like.

We are watching a developing system in the Northern Gulf of Mexico for possible tropical implications. The forecast models still show the low developing but that development could reach a status ranging from a depression to a hurricane.
