You're probably noticed the rain has been localized to East Alabama today. The moisture axis is greatest east of I-59 with dewpoint temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Drier air has managed to advect into areas west of I-65 keeping the rain chances at zero.
For the rest of this evening - we'll continue to see occasional thunderstorms in Cherokee, Calhoun, Cleburne, and Clay Counties. These thunderstorms will produce dime and nickle sized hail.
