In case you haven't guessed yet it's hot and it's going to be hot....

Will it get hotter? We could see some triple digit highs especially in West Alabama Monday although some added cloud cover could limit highs the only the upper 90s. This is a break from the heat?

Actually, early morning lows will drop into the 60s to begin the work week but that old familiar feeling will be back in the week ahead with lows only in the middle 70s and highs ranging from 93-97.

The hottest days in the week ahead beyond Monday may be next weekend when we again reach the upper 90s.

Best rain chaces look to be Tuesday...but even then less than a 50% chance for a shower or thunderstorm.

July ends hot.

August gets hotter.

How long until October?
