We could see a few strong storms overnight mainly in the Tennessee Valley. These storms are ahead of a cool front that is slowly sagging to our south. However, most of these storms will remain north of Alabama until tomorrow. It appears our best chance for active weather will begin around 1pm Friday.
I'm not anticipating any tornadoes with this setup, but high winds capable of knocking down trees and powerlines are likely. I would pay particular attention to the weather from noon until 8pm Friday. Stay with Fox 6 for updates.
