Well we went way out to West Colbert County anyway for a visit to the Seven Springs Lodge and Rattlesnake Saloon. Our visit will be highlighted next weekend on Absolutely Alabama.
It's a great trip and here's a bonus on a Hot August Day. The temperature is about 10-degrees cooler down the trail and under the rock where the Saloon is located. So if you're looking for an escape from the heat and a burger rated as one of the state's best by the Alabama Cattlemen's Association head for Tuscumbia...and just keep driving. It's located near Red Bay...but not too near anything really...so it is a destination trip, but one well worth taking.
Best of all the entire place is Family Friendly and also offers trail rides and even a couple of converted grain bins where you can spend the night!
