Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms look to be the result of a stalled frontal boundary draped across central Alabama today, tomorrow and Wednesday.
Fortunately our temperatures are expected to remain near seasonal averages with highs in the low 90s and overnight lows in the low 70s throughout our extended 7-day forecast.
On Friday a secondary cold front will likely push more rain into the forecast for the afternoon and evening hours of Friday.
By Saturday we will likely be north of the front, giving us a lower percentage of precipitation for the weekend and into early next week.
