It has felt incredibly good lately because of the lower dewpoints. Dewpoint temperatures have been in the 50s over the last several days. That's well-below our the 65 degree dewpoint temperature when the air begins to feel sticky.
High pressure will continue to dominate over the next few days, but will give way to a reinforcing shot of cooler and drier air Saturday into Sunday. This is perfect timing for the arrival of Fall. Highs Saturday will reach the upper 80s with a sharp cool down expect Saturday night.
By Sunday, high pressure will build across the area again and this will mean highs in the mid 70s with no chance of rain through most of next week. Expect temperatures to gradually return to the mid 80s by Wednesday and Thursday.
