It was cloudy and muggy Sunday morning but at least the rain held off long enought for even the guy in the back to finish the annual running of the Talladega 21000 Half-Marathon at The Track. The run benefits Prostate Cancer Research and the cancer survivors who came out to cheer us on were especially inspirational. So were all the volunteers who helped keep us well hydrated, always important in any race or outdoor activity at this time of year.
I actually thought the cold front which is on the way might beat me to the finish line, but no such luck. Here's to hoping for cooler days ahead.
