With a cold front slowly approaching Alabama until Tuesday, moisture will increase. A few showers are possible on Sunday, then thunderstorms are likely Monday. Showers may continue Monday night and Tuesday, before cold air moves in Tuesday. Rainfall amounts will average about 1 inch, but some places may get more. A few of the storms on Monday may be strong.
