We've seen a few puffy cumulus clouds across the state today. Most of those clouds have been around 5,000ft - so nothing really socking us in. We expect partly cloudy skies throughout the rest of the evening with overnight lows around 62. Just to our west - an upper level lows has been bringing heavy rain to Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. The low is expected to gradually move eastward and weaken.
Friday should be another a dry day with high pressure firmly in control across the area. Temperatures may be a few degrees warmer with highs in the upper 80s. Fortunately, dewpoint temperatures will remain in the upper 50s and lower 60s making for a comfortable evening. A weak front will move across the state on Saturday. With limited moisture - I think the only thing we'll notice is a slight incrase in cloud cover.
Rain chances will hold off until late Sunday into Monday. Expect highs this weekend in the mid 80s with overnight lows in the mid 60s. Rain chances will decrease after Tuesday with the return of sunshine and much cooler air. We'll likely have morning lows in the mid 50s Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the 70s. Have a great evening!
