A front arrives this upcoming weekend and that means a pretty good chance for wet weather. If you plan on going to a college football game, be prepared for showers and storms. The storms that develop on Saturday afternoon will be slow movers and heavy rainfall producers. Travel conditions will be poor, especially after the games.
Here's a look at what the GFS computer model is forecasting in terms of temperatures, cloud cover and precipitation rate for Saturday.
- Alabama against Florida Atlantic starts at 11AM
- UAB in Starkville starts at 1PM
- Auburn against San Jose State starts at 6PM
As of now, it appears as though the weather will be dry on Saturday morning so good conditions for tailgaters.
Chance for rain increases during the afternoon hours and will either impact those tailgating or enjoying a football game.
The wettest weather is expected from 2pm-8pm. It's too early out to get a good idea as to what the simulated radar might look like.
That's the latest as of Wednesday afternoon!
As we near the weekend, we'll give you a better idea as to what to expect.
