The tail end of a cold front, which will be moisture starved arrives on Monday evening. We'll just see some additional clouds from it and slightly cooler air on Tuesday. Highs in the middle and upper 70s on Monday and lower 70s on Tuesday.
Some moisture return is expected through Wednesday and will be enough for showers and storms to develop and impact Alabama during the evening and overnight hours. I don't think there will be enough moisture for severe storms. This trend has been showing up in model data for several days now.
Colder air filters in to end the week and especially to begin next weekend. Model data continues to fluctuate regarding how cold it's going to get on Saturday morning. Saturday evening data showed upper 20s and Sunday morning data now shows lower 30s for next Saturday morning. For now, I am going with a low of 36°.
We will keep an eye on Gulf moisture return for Wednesday and the magnitude of the cold air projected for Saturday and will update you daily!
Enjoy the beautiful weather the next few days,
