The center of circulation is hugging the South Carolina coastline as of 8:30am Sunday. Bonnie will make landfall today and then barely drift back off the coast late Monday. The center of Bonnie is forecast to hug the North Carolina coastline through the end of the week.
Heavy rainfall resulting in flash flooding and flooding is likely. The rain bands are already dumping locally heavy rainfall near Charleston leading to a flash flood warning. Amounts could easily exceed 6 inches across parts of the Carolinas and Virginia by Tuesday.
Alabama needs some rain and will see a better chance for some late week.
