Tropical Storm Fiona is expected to continue to track towards Bermuda next week and weaken to a depression.
Notice the yellow X which symbolizes a Tropical Wave that has a 10% chance of formation into a depression in the next 48 hours and then has a 50% chance of development through the next 5 days.
The Tropical Wave is located about 600 miles southwest of Cabo Verde Islands and is producing a disorganized area of cloudiness and shower activity. Environmental conditions are expected to become more conducive for development, and a tropical depression could form early next week while the system moves westward at about 15 mph across the Atlantic Ocean.
