It certainly feels like a Fall morning out there today with temps starting out in the 40s to 50s.
This afternoon may be our last day with highs in the 70s for a little while. A mild warming trend is expected this weekend and into next week. So, enjoy this afternoon's forecast of mostly sunny skies...highs near 76...and NW winds around 5 mph.
Tonight should be mostly clear...lows near 54...and light winds.
There are no big changes in our extended forecast other than the mild warm-up going into next week.
Matthew is now a category-2 Hurricane in the Caribbean and could become at category-3 as it is expected to begin its turn to the north. This system is expected to move across eastern Cuba and then head north toward the U.S. eastern coastline. We will continue to track Matthew through the weekend. You can also monitor it as well as your local forecast through our WBRC weather app.
I hope you have a great weekend!
