We need a pattern change and next week towards the middle to late portion it looks like we will see the jet stream dip in our direction and send a cold front our way. There will be some moisture return but how much is now the question.

Did you notice subtle differences? Well I won't get all technical, but I will tell you that we want the GFS model to pan out. It draws more moisture and lift across Alabama which would mean a better chance for rain. The EURO model is drier and the best forcing stays north.

So our confidence is growing regarding when Alabama will see the best chance for rain next week. It looks like Wednesday into Thursday is our best chance as of now. Confidence remains low as to how much rain and how widespread. As we gather new information, we will be sure to relay it.
