A severe storm watch is in effect until 9PM. The squall line has the potential of producing 60 mph wind gusts. Most of the winds produced by the squall line will range from 40 mph to 50 mph. The squall line is moving a little faster and will be impacting places like Eutaw to Tuscaloosa to Jasper to Cullman by 7pm.
The squall line should start to weaken enough for a lower severe wind gust threat once it passes I-65 after 8PM.
*Widespread heavy rainfall
*Widespread gusty winds
*Localized wind gusts over 50 mph
*Small chance for a brief spin up south of I-20 and west of I-65
