After a gorgeous, warm Easter weekend we see the return of a chance of showers to our forecast today. Look for highs to develop into the low 80s. No severe storms are expected with our chance of rain around 40-percent.
Tonight we will see much of the shower activity go away with the loss of daytime heating. Look for lows overnight near 63 under mostly cloudy skies.
Tomorrow some spotty showers could redevelop in the heat of the day, mainly north of I-20/59.
Wednesday will likely see the last impulses of this wet weather system with a few spotty showers still lingering in the afternoon hours, mainly into north Alabama.
While we could squeeze out a dry day on Thursday, another wet weather system brings us spotty showers Friday into Saturday with a more powerful frontal driven storm system expected to push showers and storms through our area Sunday morning.
This system is expected to be followed by much cooler air as we head into next week.
Have a nice Monday...and don't forget that umbrella.
