We get started on this last day of July, 2017 with very comfortable conditions, with lower humidity levels. Expect a very nice day today with mostly sunny skies...light winds out of the northeast...and highs in the upper 80s.
Tonight should be mostly clear...lows near 67-degrees...and light winds.
Tuesday is expected to be another nice day with a few more clouds by afternoon...highs should be close to 90-degrees...and winds developing out of the east around 5 mph.
There is a low in the Gulf near Tampa that has a 40-percent chance of becoming tropical over the next 5-days. However, the low is expected to move across the Florida peninsula and into the western Atlantic. So, it is not expected to pose much of a threat to gulf interests.
Wednesday will likely see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures remaining about the same.
Moisture is expected to begin building back in from our south by Thursday. Look for a 30-percent chance of showers...morning temps near 70...and highs near 86. Higher rain chances are expected into central and south Alabama.
A cold front is forecast to move in from the northwest by Friday increasing our rain chances area wide. The front is showing signs that it will stall, giving us a decent chance of rain on Saturday, with scattered showers still lingering through Sunday.
I hope you have a happy Monday!
