Clouds are increasing out there this morning. They are moving in from the west. As a result many of our western communities are a little warmer than east Alabama's. There is a slow moving wet weather system moving in today. We aren't anticipating any severe storms with this system, just hit and miss showers and a few storms.
Expect highs today to top out near 69-degrees...with a 30-to-40 percent chance of showers...and winds out of the south at 5 mph.
Tonight should be mostly cloudy...with a 40-percent chance of showers...lows near 60...and light winds.
We anticipate a gradual warming trend through the weekend, with highs warming into the upper 70s to low 80s by Sunday into Monday...overnight lows will likely hover around 60.
Hit and miss showers and storms will likely be with us through Saturday afternoon.
While Sunday will likely be dry, we are expected to hold on to mostly cloudy skies.
Our dry weather continues through the early part of next week.
