After one of the nicest weather weekends we have had in awhile, we start out this morning with cool temps. Areas are in the 40s this morning, with some locations into our northern counties dropping into the the upper 30s.
Temps should see a big rebound this afternoon. Under mostly sunny skies, expect highs today into the upper 70s to low 80s...with light winds out of the southeast around 5 mph.
Tonight is expected to be a little milder...with lows near 56 under clear skies.
We have a warming trend in the forecast for our workweek...with highs climbing into the low to mid-80s...and low into the 60s.
Mostly clear skies will likely prevail through Friday.
An approaching cold front is poised to give us a chance of rain by this weekend, but it looks like the rainfall will be in the form of scattered showers and thunderstorms.
The 10-day forecast on our WBRC First Alert weather app shows skies clearing by Monday into Tuesday...with another chance of rain by midweek next week.
I hope it's a happy Monday for you.
Enjoy the sunshine!
