The National Weather Service has once again issued a heat advisory between the hours of 11AM and 9PM for the counties shaded in orange.
The feels like temperatures will range between 105° to 109° for several hours this afternoon.
It's already humid out and once the sun rises and heats the air, the combination will make it feel like it's in the 90s after 9AM. From 11AM and beyond, it will feel like it's in the 100s. Exposed to this kind of heat for a long period of time can result in heat related illnesses. If your location is under a heat advisory and you would like more information regarding it, open up the First Alert Weather App and click on the alert.
Hot temperatures will once again cause the air to rise and widely scattered showers and storms to develop. Most formation occurs after 12pm and will linger through 11pm. A passing shower or storm will help drop the temperature but that's about it.
