If you plan on attending a high school football game this evening, I would bring a poncho if the game you are going to is located east of I-65 and or south of I-20. We are tracking spotty showers on First Alert radar and the chance will remain across this zone through sunset. After sunset, activity will slowly wane. More areas will be dry than wet and the chance for lightning is low. Showers will produce brief heavy downpours.
The weather looks great for folks heading to Arlington, Texas for the Alabama game.
Going to see Auburn play?
Well bring a poncho and if you see dark clouds, be sure to check the radar on the WBRC First Alert Weather App. so you don't get doused by a heavy downpour.
The chance for showers and storms in and around Auburn will climb to 30% during the afternoon hours and then decrease by game time.
Have a great evening and I hope you enjoy watching your favorite football team!
